Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Refugees Refuse (Austria). DESCRIPTION: Hungarian refugees gave a very cold reception to a Repatriation Commission, visiting Austria on behalf of Mr Kadar’s Government. Police were called in to dissuade the Hungarians from man handling these emissaries of the present Communist regime which controls their country. SHOTLIST: Various shots of refugees. Refugees attack a car. Shots of refugees shouting etc. Shots of police. Shots of refugees chasing after the Commission in the car. Shots of the refugees burning a banner.
