MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Zambesi River Floods. DESCRIPTION: With the Zambesi River in violent flood, the accent was on danger. Danger to the Power Station - damage to the bridge across the Kariba Gorge - and danger at many other places along the great river’s course and reports of Africans cut-off and drowned by the sudden overflowing of the irresistible torrent.
