MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Syracuse Grand Prix. DESCRIPTION: Drivers from seven countries competed in the Syracuse Grand Prix in Sicily. Among them were Peter Collins in a Ferrari and Stirling Moss in a Vanwall. Right from the Off Collins and Moss set the pace. After a delay, Moss made a wonderful recovery, set a new lap record and came in second. Peter Collins, scored a magnificent victory, beating the course record set last year by world champion Fangio.
