- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Miss Great Britain Contest. DESCRIPTION: Among the judges of the Miss Great Britain contest were Charles Eade, Lisa Gastoni and Bob Monkhouse. The winner was 20-year-old Leila Williams of Walsall, who received the Rose Bowl from Charles Eade. And the winner’s sash from last year’s winner Irish Waller. The prize was a thousand pounds.
