MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Dusseldorf Explosion. DESCRIPTION: Devastating in Dusseldorf, following an explosion at a large filling station. Five cylinders of Methane gas exploded, one of them was thought to have sprung a leak. Damage was estimated at over 420 thousand pounds, thirty people were injured. SHOTLIST: GV of wreckage. Firemen with hoses putting out flames. SCU fire. GV of wreckage. CU blasted car with shattered windscreen. CU shattered shop windows. GV of damaged area.
