- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: St Lawrence Seaway. DESCRIPTION: The St Lawrence Seaway is indeed a mighty project, not only a scheme for navigation to the Great Lakes, but a great Power project as well. The Long Sault dam, which is on United States territory, is a vital part of the power scheme on the International Rapids section of the river. The Province of Ontario and the State of New York will eventually share the responsibility for over two million horse power of electric energy. SHOTLIST: Various shots of the St Lawrence Seaway.
