Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: The Governor Rides Out Foot Visits Villages. DESCRIPTION: Riding his horse Spider, the Governor of Cyprus (Sir Hugh Foot) continued his campaign of meeting the people in person. He stopped at many points on his journey from Nicosia to Kyrenia and talked with groups of Cypriots, who gathered round as soon as word went out that the Governor was there.
