Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Pittsburgh Fire. DESCRIPTION: Familiar enough to war time pilots - a town on fire. But there was no conflict there, Pittsburgh in peacetime, and the only battle is the onslaught by firemen. Forty brigades were called out, but they couldn’t confine the flames, and a whole district was engulfed. Four firemen were injured, and two people died of heart attacks during the fearful disaster.
