- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Opening of X-Ray Campaign. SHOTLIST: Scenes at bandstand, while waiting for the torch bearers who have run in relays from Aberdeen to arrive with the X-Ray torches. Shots of Highland Dancers and the Band of the Black Watch. After the campaign has been opened by the Rt. Hon. JS MacClay. Secretary of State for Scotland, the torchbearers arrive and are received by the Lord Provost of Edinburgh, who leads the procession to Big Top erected in Princes Street gardens. The tape is cut by an 8 year old boy and girl. Shots of people being X-rayed.
