Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Duke of Edinburgh Visits Planetarium. DESCRIPTION: It’s London’s latest - a Planetarium. A magical place, and the 70,000 pound projector is the magician. It can throw images of the stars, showing their past, present and future positions as seen from any place on the earth’s surface. Prince Philip attended the opening and stayed sometime watching the star-gazing apparatus at work. Dr Henry King was operating the controls. SHOTLIST: GV Exterior of building.
