- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Mechanical Handling Exhibition & Aberdeen’s Last Tram. DESCRIPTION: The Mechanical Handling Exhibition was opened at Earls Court. You can see one of the robots model mobile crane without a driver, a delicate control of heavy weights and the ROBOTUG, which doesn’t need any driving, can do its job unattended and stops automatically. Over to Aberdeen, and the contrast of a horse-drawn tram, built in 1898. They got it out specially to take part in a procession through the granite city, marking the end of Aberdeen’s tram-way.
