MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Freedom for Dli. SHOTLIST: First Battalion Durham Light Infantry march past camera. Closer - same. Side shot Battalion at ease. MS Mayor (Councillor Emerson) with Mace and party member. Crowds line pavement. Members of Mayor’s party. MS Mayor inspects Battalion. MS officers salute Mayor. Mayor presents Title Deed of Freedom of Borough to Major General Poett (Colonel of Regiment). Battalion march past camera. Side shot - Major General Poett salutes from dais. MS march past. Same with colours flying. Dais pan to Regimental band. Light Infantry travel in jeeps. Truck with troops passes camera. MS jeep armed with machine gun. Truck hauling gun. MS Mayor & Colonel on dais. Trucks & jeep move along road.
