Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Grand Prix. DESCRIPTION: Among those in the French Grand Prix were Stirling Moss and the reigning World Champion, Juan Fangio. Mike Hawthorn, Ferrari (No 4) took an early lead. Moss was in a Vanwall (No 8) and Fangio (No 34) in a Maserati. Moss leads for the World Championship, but he could not hold Hawthorn. Hawthorn and Moss, in that order, level on points for that World Title. This was the race in which the Italian ace Musso lost his life. SHOTLIST: MS racing. MS crowd. CU Moss & Behra. MS Fangio.
