- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Do It Yourself Car. DESCRIPTION: Want to own a 90 mile an hour sports car? All you need is £250. First take the initiative of two young motor and plastic engineers. They’re prefabricating a tubular chassis with independent front suspension, and a plastic body to bolt on in sections. All parts are free of purchase tax, hence the low price. Your job is to get the engine and components from a pre-war family saloon, replace worn parts and fit the thing together! SHOTLIST: GV car driving. CU steering wheel.
