- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Desert Railway. DESCRIPTION: They’re building a new railway in Israel: from the Gulf of Aqaba to Beersheba, and eventually on to the Mediterranean. Oil and other goods can be transported through Israel between East and West, without the constant fear of obstruction by Egypt.
