Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Wales Win in the Mud. DESCRIPTION: Cardiff Arms Park and the day of the international rugger match. Conditions were probably the worst seen in any international since the war. It was a case of skating and sliding over a quagmire of a pitch, and high-class rugger was out of the question. The match was won by Wales: 5-NIL. SHOTLIST: LS hay being cleared from pitch. MS same. MS men loading hay onto cart. Closer same. Another angle same (2). GV kick off. MS England (in white) attack from right to left. LS play in progress. Ground shots players covered in mud fall to ground. MS throws-in and players tackling. Closer game in progress. LS Wales attack. LS to MS English player tackles Welsh player to ground.
