Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Duke of Edinburgh in Delhi. DESCRIPTION: There was a very warm welcome for Prince Philip when he arrived at the airport. His Royal Highness was greeted by Mr Nehru, and the heads of Diplomatic Missions. . Then came the garlanding: it’s a way they have in India, to say it with garlands of flowers!. From the airport, Prince Philip drove with Mr Nehru, an occasion for the unofficial greetings from the people of the capital. SHOTLIST: Shot of Comet taxiing.
