- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Grivas in Athens. DESCRIPTION: The EOKA leader, Colonel George Grivas, got a big welcome in Athens. Members of the Greek Government and leaders of the church were there to head the reception. The Primate of Greece, Archbishop Theoklitos had a laurel wreath all ready for him. Then, Grivas paid formal tribute at the Athens War Memorial. Later, he and his wife were received by the Prime Minister, Mr Karamanlis. SHOTLIST: LS plane lands (key). MS plane taxies.
