Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: The Prince Plays Polo. DESCRIPTION: At Smith’s Lawn, Windsor, Princess Anne was there, when her father played in the Victoria Cup final. He was number three in the Welsh Guards team, who met (and defeated) the Silver Leys. Princess Anne was tremendously busy, all the time, always ready to help her father with the polo ponies. It was all very much a royal family affair, with Prince Philip receiving the Victoria Cup from Her Majesty the Queen. SHOTLIST: GV game in progress (key). MS Princess Anne watching activity. LS same.
