MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Madrid Welcomes Lord Mayor. DESCRIPTION: The Lord Mayor of London was on a visit to Madrid. Here, he is seen driving to the City Hall for a reception with an escort. Presently, another escort preceded Sir Harold Gillett, who walked in procession in his full robes of office. The Mayor of Madrid and the Spanish Minister of Trade were among the VIPs who made him welcome at a special reception in his honour. SHOTLIST: MS Lord Mayor & party step from plane (key).
