Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Floods in S Africa. DESCRIPTION: Natal has been badly hit by devastating floods. Some 40 lives have been lost, and a great deal of damage done. Flying south along the coast from Durban, a local cameraman obtained these pictures of bridges broken by the swollen rivers. SHOTLIST: Flood scene (key). Aerial shot - devastation area with wrecked bridge. Closer pan same. Another pan same showing devastation. Another aerial scene of wrecked bridges etc.
