Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Paddlewheel in Orbit. DESCRIPTION: Cape Canaveral, Florida, and Explorer Six about to make its voyage of discovery into space. The rocket carried a revolutionary package, a satellite with four paddles. Folded in flight, they spring out when it’s in orbit, the blades containing cells that generate electricity from sunlight to feed the communications system.
