Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: On Fire - on Purpose. DESCRIPTION: This old House in Kent, once the home of that famous and popular amateur rider, the late Lord Mildmay, was thoroughly drenched in paraffin in readiness to be set on fire - on purpose. It had fallen into decay, its floors had rotted and were unsafe to walk on. So, they decided on demolition by fire. SHOTLIST: MS flames (key). GV house. Pan down house.
