- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: The Shah’s Wedding. DESCRIPTION: Pictures of the wedding were restricted to the arrival, first, of His Imperial Majesty, seen ascending the staircase on the way to the Hall of Mirrors, where he was to wed for the third time. Then, the arrival of the beautiful bride, 21-year-old Farah Dibah, wearing her Dior gown of heavy white satin, and attended by the retinue of bridesmaids. After the ceremony, the Shah and Queen Farah posed for the cameras. Later that day, at the Gulistan Palace, the Shah and his Queen entertained some two hundred members of the court at a banquet.
