Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Missile Protest. DESCRIPTION: Supporters of the Direct Action Committee against Nuclear War, marched to the RAF missile base at Harrington airfield, Northants. The demonstration lasted about two hours, and, after warnings about obstruction, many arrests were made. Eighty altogether, seventy-three people later refused bail and were remanded in custody.
