Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Relief at Last. DESCRIPTION: Eddystone Lighthouse has been completely isolated for three weeks. As soon as the stormy weather abated, reliefs for the two lighthouse keepers were promptly on their way out from Plymouth. They had been due to take over before Christmas, but gales and high seas made it impossible. Now, all is well, and a calm sea made the transfer a comparatively simple job. A Trinity House vessel took the two keepers ashore, at long last. SHOTLIST: LS Eddystone lighthouse. Pan relief lighthouse keepers. CU lighthouse keepers kit. MS lighthouse keepers emerging from below deck. LS lighthouse keepers on deck. Pan - lighthouse keepers. TS boat leaves ship. Pan boat on way to lighthouse. MS lookout at cabin window. MS lighthouse. LS same. MS same. BS boat being towed behind ship.
