Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Sea Trials. DESCRIPTION: Now, to the Firth of Clyde, where the mighty big tanker, the British Queen was undergoing her sea trials. She is the largest tanker yet built in Britain: 50,000 tons. Her size is in the modern trend, and so in her accommodation: a cinema, a swimming-pool, and air conditioning throughout. British Queen is the first of a new class, designed for long-distance hauls of crude oil from Kuwait. SHOTLIST: Key scene. Fade out title - scene runs. Pan bow to stern of the tanker ‘British Queen’.
