- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: British Frigates in Israel. DESCRIPTION: The port of Haifa has just been offering a warm welcome to the Royal Navy. Four frigates of the Mediterranean Fleet have been paying a courtesy call. A Senior Officer of the Israeli Navy was soon boarding HMS Eastbourne to present official greetings, and he welcomed the British Captain in command of the Flotilla on this goodwill mission.
