- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Hotel Roundabout. DESCRIPTION: It is Britain’s first circular hotel, the nine hundred thousand pound Ariel at London Airport. The doors opened automatically, as our cameraman entered to film the scene, when Mr Thorneycroft gave the hotel it’s official send-off. A record of the Queen’s visit is duly preserved in the hotel, which is up to date in design and decor. The Ariel can sleep 300 who stay here in transit. SHOTLIST: Key scene.
