Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Breakfast Time. DESCRIPTION: The setting was a London hotel: there were blackamoors in attendance, pretty serving wenches in eighteenth century costume, and the sort of things people had for breakfast in Dr Johnson’s day. The idea was to reproduce the sort of gathering that used to attend his breakfast circle. Among those who attended on this occasion were Alicia Markova, Sir Donald Wolfit and Jimmy Edwards.
