- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: The Queen in India Colour. DESCRIPTION: Our pictures show the Republic of India Anniversary Celebrations, with all its romantic colour and glittering ceremonial. Thousands had gathered in the place still known as Kingsway for the parade, this year a parade with a difference. Her Majesty the Queen, seen arriving with the Indian President to the saluting base, was to attend as head of the Commonwealth. The magnificent parade of the Armed Forces was as brilliant and splendid as anything ever seen in the Imperial past. SHOTLIST: Key scene. GV Anniversary celebrations parade. TS Crowds. MCU crowd.
