- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Racing in the Rain. DESCRIPTION: It was the British Grand Prix at Aintree, 225 miles, most of it in a deluge of rain, with a course like a lake, and water everywhere. For over 40 of the 75 laps, von Trips (4) was chased by Moss (28), but brake trouble ended Stirling’s chance. It was the Ferraris, who triumphed once more, Wolfgang von Trips, Phil Hill and Ritchie Ginther, first, second and third. SHOTLIST: Key scene. MCU Jack Brabham passes in car. CU von Trips same.
