MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Europe’s Largest. DESCRIPTION: They call it a radome. Nearly 70 feet in diameter and over 50 feet high, it’s designed to protect radar installations from the weather. The radome is made of 300 large panels of reinforced plastic which can withstand the extremes of hurricane force winds and below zero temperatures. SHOTLIST: Key scene. LS Radome. GV same.
