Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Guns Galore. DESCRIPTION: Under the terms of the arms amnesty, anyone in unlawful possession of arms or ammunition, could bring ‘em along, without getting into trouble. The amnesty had lasted for 2 months, during which time enormous hauls were made. Throughout the country, something like 60,000 weapons were handed over, about 10,000 in the Metropolitan area of London alone. SHOTLIST: Key scene. MS man with gun. GV police station.
