MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Hampden Park - Scotland Win. DESCRIPTION: Scotland were at home to Wales at Hampden Park. This was the first full international to be played here under the newly installed floodlights. Then, the match got going before a crowd of over 74,000. Twenty minutes passed before a goal. Then, St John had it in the net. In the second half, Wales had their moments, but presently, it was all Scotland again. In the fiftieth minute, St John scored a second. SHOTLIST: This match is played under floodlights. Key scene. GV footballers come out onto pitch. GV two captains shake hands and toss a coin in front of the referee. Whistle is blown and play begins.
