Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Best Foot Forward. DESCRIPTION: There were 34 miles to go from Brighton to Earlswood Common in Surrey in this Inter-University Students’ classic. Supporters followed by bus, including members of the teams, for the race was a relay, with about 30 competitors in a team. There were 5 lots in it, and there’d be a big collection for charity at the ball in the evening. The winning team turned out to be Northampton College, London. SHOTLIST: Key scene. GV start of race.
