MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Belly Flop. DESCRIPTION: The landing gear of a Constellation, arriving at Bogota, was jammed. So, there was no choice for the captain, it’s got to be a belly landing! It was a perfect job, but in contrast to the captain’s coolness, there was panic among passengers. But no-one was hurt. SHOTLIST: Key scene. (fade out) GV plane landing. GV police, firemen and ambulances. GV plane does belly flop landing. GV ditto. MS people coming out of plane. GV ditto (2 shots) people on stretcher. (2 shots) the captain out.
