MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Ready for America Cup. DESCRIPTION: One of our cameramen in Sydney recorded the loading aboard a cargo ship of Gretel, Australia’s challenger for the America’s Cup. The 70-footer is bound for the States where she may be racing against Nefertiti, the latest American craft to seek the honour of defending the Cup. The race takes place off Rhode Island in September.
