Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Hong Kong Hurricane. DESCRIPTION: Our pictures show Hong Kong after it was swept by the typhoon Wanda: tumbled buildings and wreckages everywhere, ships lifted clear of the water, and 45,000 people homeless. The terrible wind also brought torrential rains, which added to the difficulties of the authorities who did all they could to help.
