- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Leave It to Mini-Moke. DESCRIPTION: Introducing the Mini-Moke, our first twin-engined car, designed by Alec Issigonis who gave us the Mini. The Moke has an engine at the back as well as the front. Both engines have their own gear lever but are controlled by the same accelerator and clutch. Its performance is quite something: 72 bhp gives a top speed around 75 miles-an-hour. SHOTLIST: Key scene. MS Mini Moke. CU Mr Alec Issigonis (the designer of the Mini and now the Moke). CU rear engine, pan rear to front engine. CU gear lever pan to second gear lever. MS Mini Moke moves off. MS same at speed. MLS same towards camera. CU Designer Mr Issigonis.
