DESCRIPTION: Seen here demonstrating some fascinating new instruments used by Soviet surgeons, Professor Romashov, who is visiting London with a trade mission. They’ve been taking big strides forward in the techniques of heart surgery, and these instruments have been developed to speed up and improve the suturing, or stitching up of blood vessels.
