MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Teaching Themselves. DESCRIPTION: Every Saturday teenagers come to the Whitechapel Art Gallery in London to spend their leisure time modelling and painting. There’s no specialised instruction, they’re allowed to work entirely on their own. All materials are provided, the only condition is that you have to be recommended by your school. Materials are provided, and there are facilities for painting, pottery modelling and fabric printing.
