Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: From Blackfriars to Milan. DESCRIPTION: A carpet, which will eventually be 30 ft long, is being made in London at this Workshop for the Handicapped; a new venture by the Blackfriars Settlement. It provides work for people who are handicapped, either by old age, blindness or some infirmity, thus helping them to employ their leisure usefully. The carpet, designed by Harold Cohen, will be on exhibition in the British Pavilion at the Milan Triennale throughout the Summer. SHOTLIST: Title scene. GV carpet - finished section.
