DESCRIPTION: Among big names of show-biz at the Variety Club’s Gala Battersea Park, were Jessie Matthews, Liz Frazer, Milly, Cilla Black, Stanley Baker and many more. There was a contest to find Miss Variety Club, 1964 and nearly a hundred girls from all over Britain took part.
