Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Carry On, Night Nurse!. DESCRIPTION: The Royal Victorian Infirmary at Newcastle-upon-Tyne - claims to be the first hospital to start the nurse on wheels. The sisters use runabouts, powered by twelve volt batteries. They are completely silent, so that the patients will not be disturbed. SHOTLIST: GV the Royal Victoria Infirmary, Newcastle-upon-Tyne. MS sister gets emergency call while talking to nurse. CU radio receiver on sister’s belt. MS sister walks to runabout and drives off. MS sign To all wards and departments. MLS sister driving along corridor. MS sign Please drive slowly and quietly. BS sister driving along corridor. Trucking shot ditto. TS sign beside doorway Ward 9. TS sister driving along corridor.
