MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Football Season Opens. DESCRIPTION: The start of another football season - and an exciting match at Old Trafford as Manchester United are beaten 1 - 0 by Leeds. SHOTLIST: GV Old Trafford pan round to crowd entering. SV pan supporters going to match. SV teams onto pitch. LV crowd zoom out. TV Man Utd. kick off from right to left, zoom out. LAS Fitzpatrick in Leeds goalmouth, Fitzpatrick heads to Edwards (not Duncan E) whose header is saved by Sprake. GV crowd. TV pan Billy Bremner hits long shot saved by Stepney. SV crowd. TV Manchester Utd. attacking. Charlton about to centre from left. LAS Ball centred headed over goal. GV crowd. GV Leeds take short corner, ball is crossed & starts to land in penalty area. TV Jones scores for Leeds pan to players congratulating him. TV Best hits hard shot wide from outside box. LAS Ball centred from Manchester corner & Sprake saves header. 2nd Half - TV Leeds take short corner & Eddie Gray centres & Stepney gathers & clears. TV pan Leeds attack Cooper centres to Gray who lobs ball over defender’s head. LAS man clear & attack. TV B Charlton centres to Stiles who heads over bar. TV players off pitch.
