- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Aid for Pakistan. DESCRIPTION: At last, relief supplies are reaching the victims of the East Pakistan flood disaster. Britain’s mounted the biggest disaster aid programme in recent times and has already contributed nearly a million pounds for relief. Perhaps the biggest tragedy is the time it’s taken for the supplies to get there, when with a little more international co-operation thousands could have been saved.
