MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Container Ship. DESCRIPTION: The world’s biggest container ship docks at Southampton. In one trip to North America she’ll carry more cargo than the other seven vessels currently operated by the line. SHOTLIST: GV ship The Dart Europe in dock. SV ditto. GV containers on quayside pan to ship. SV captain on bridge with controls & walkie talkie. GV remote control trucks moving along line of crates. SV pan truck carrying crate. SV truck moves towards observed by a workman with a walkie talkie. SCU workmen speaking into walkie talkie. LV container on crane. SV ditto pan down as it is lowered. SCU workman guiding it down. GV automatic trucks and containers on quayside. SV control room. CU control panel, hand moves switch. CU captain looks through binoculars from bridge. Pan to GV of hold as seen by him.
