MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Christmas Trees. DESCRIPTION: Seven million Christmas trees will get lit up over the festive season with families in the London area alone. Big business for the foresters who grow them, especially now they’re being treated to stop us getting the needle (on the carpet). SHOTLIST: LV pan down decorated Xmas trees with large lantern lights - trees uncut. SV pan large lanterns on tree. GV small Xmas tree dug up in field. SV digging up tree. SV ditto - man holds Xmas tree. CU man holds tree. LV man dipping tree into tub as anti-needle dropping measure. CU man dipping tree. CU dipping tree into liquid. GV HMS Victory crew start lifting giant tree. CU girl from HMS Victory. GV crew of HMS Victory lift tree onto trailer. CU lorry starts to pull away - Royal Navy HM Dockyard Portsmouth. GV trailer tows tree away.
