- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Fire Fighters. DESCRIPTION: Private London Fire Fighters gave a demonstration of their efficiency in front of the Lord Mayor of London. SHOTLIST: Angle shot pan down Guildhall to Lord Mayor of London Sir Edward Howard. SV Lord Mayor meeting officials. GV Wall Street. GV St Paul’s Cathedral. Angle shot monument. SCU plaque of monument about The Great Fire 1666. SV demonstration in progress. SV spectators. GV teams competing. SV pan teams lined up, they race over to hoses & run back with them. SV men squirting water from hoses. LV fireman runs towards camera unrolling hose. SV fireman standing ready with hose, he raises his arm to signal. SCU pan along hose to fireman spraying water. SV water jets hit two chequered targets & knock them down. LV towards teams of firemen race down street, some connect hoses to hydrants while others run back with hoses. SV targets knocked down by water jets. SV spectators. SLV teams walk forward to receive Lord Mayor. SV pan winning team being presented with medals. CU pan down shield. SV shield pan to winning team. SV winning team lined up with others.
